Slotkins's Contribution

For years, Slotkin gave the stones to charitable foundations including the American Heart Association, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the American Lung Association to be used at their discretion. Often the stones were auctioned for fundraising purposes.

Slotkin also visited the sick and terminally ill in hospitals all over the United States to give them stones to provide comfort and a way to reinforce their faith in Christ.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Nativity Stones is sent to Bethlehem every year for the upkeep and maintenance of the Basilica that stands above the Cave of the Nativity. These funds help enable future generations to visit and view this holy commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
